Our automation training academy

Automation training academy

In RPA and IPA engagements it is crucial that the business requirements are accurate and that development and testing are in skilled hands. For this reason Virtual Operations has established the VOLT Automation Academy.

We have customized training packages designed for leadership teams, project managers and practitioners.

Our highly experienced trainers are selected based on both their deep knowledge of RPA tools and their hands-on experience of using them to deliver RPA solutions.

We believe in working together in Joint Agility teams.  This can significantly reduce the long-term cost and accelerate automation initiatives. Over time, our clients can become entirely self-sufficient or may wish to build ongoing Joint Agility teams with Virtual Operations which provides deeper technical experience and resource flexibility.

Virtual Operations training Academy trains in all robotic process automation technologies and is typically run monthly in the US and/or London depending on demand. Virtual Operations has the only Academy of this kind anywhere globally.

RPA enabled transformation

This course focuses on the relationship and interaction between the deployment of RPA and operational transformation. It is ideal for developers and leaders looking to extend beyond the initial RPA process targets and leverage operational transformation more widely.

Practitioner (including Foundation)

The Practitioner Course focuses on the core RPA delivery skills. It is ideal for developers who have successfully completed the Foundation Course (a pre-requisite) and are looking to optimize their ability to get RPA operations live.

Advanced capabilities

These course elements provide drilldown expertise for advanced leadership and technical teams.  They include selling process automation services, pricing and commercial constructs and well as, for example, surface automation (where Citrix is part of the solution).

The Academy provides standard and bespoke classroom-based training and most courses run for three to five days. Our Academy trainers are selected based on their specific and demonstrated experience at excelling within the Automate framework, mentoring other developers and delivering automated business processes for our clients.

Following graduation in both Foundation and Practitioner courses, and in as little as two weeks, developers are capable of working on simple process automation projects, or more complex projects with supplemental supervision and mentoring from Virtual Operations available as required.
